- Step 9: After clicking the Submit button, select the first option. i.e. By OTP on both the mobile number as follows. Click the Proceed button. (For this, you must already have a valid registered mobile number)
- Step 10: Here, you have to enter your debit card details that are linked to your account. Enter the Valid To/Expiry Date, Card Holder Name, ATM PIN, and fill the captcha. Click the Proceed button.
- Step 11: On successful validation of the debit card, now it will ask for the payment of Rs. 1 from your account. Click the Pay button.
Step 12: Now, you will get reference numbers on both mobile.

This is one of the most popular ways how to change mobile number in SBI Account online. For this, you must have an active SBI debit card linked/associated with your bank account. Moreover, you must have a new mobile number as well as the old mobile number with you to change it.

- Choose the option IRATA: Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM’ and click Proceed button.
- Select the account by clicking the button, for which you possess the Debit card linked with your bank account, and click Proceed.
- Now, the State Bank of India’s ATM card Validation screen will appear
- Select the Active ATM card and click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
- Here, you need to Enter the card details like Valid To/Expiry Date, Card Holder Name, ATM PIN, etc., and click the Proceed button
- If the validation is successful then the Confirmation message will be displayed on the screen.
- Now, you will receive an SMS containing a 10-digit IRATA reference number on your new mobile number.
- Visit any State Bank Group ATM, swipe your card, select the ‘Services’ tab and input your 4-digit PIN.
- Now, select the Others option and then select the Internet Banking Request Approval option.
- Enter the 10-digit reference number.

If you don’t have access to both SBI net banking and ATM card then you can change your registered mobile number in SBI Branch. You have to request to Change Mobile Number in SBI Account through a format KYC (Know Your Customer) available in the bank.

- One of the Bank’s Contact Center persons will call you within the next 3 working days on your new mobile number only.

- The Contact Center will verify your identity over a call by asking for certain information.
- After the successful validation of your identity, your new mobile number will be registered, and you will also receive a confirmation message on your new mobile number.
